Bild claims that the Russian intelligence services last year proposed to their German counterparts to “interrogate the suspect”, former Wirecard number 2, wanted for almost two years. The management of the BND, the German intelligence services, would not have responded, although the government was “informed”. The specialized intelligence site Bellingat reviewed his immigration data and found that he was a frequent visitor to Russia, with more than 60 trips to the country in the last 10 years.
